Most of us think of ramen as college dorm food, and our memories aren’t usually positive. Insanely Good Ramen Meals: The Ramen King Ivan Cookbook, by TikToc and You Tube star, Ivan McCombs who goes by RamenKingIvan, is a delightful and colorful cookbook that has delighted his 12 million followers and given them plenty of ideas for changing mundane ramen to exciting ramen.

This cookbook is really fun to read, as well as cook from. There are good hints and tips, and very unique recipes that everyone will want to make. The recipes are written in the traditional manner with the ingredients listed first, followed by step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow, whether you are a seasoned cook, or just beginning. The author’s personality comes through and makes for a good read.

An essential ingredient in a good cookbook is photographs; this one has bright, colorful professional photographs that make almost every recipe mouthwatering. Readers will probably want to go on a “ramen diet” so they will have an excuse to cook fun ramen every day.

All told, this cookbook is full of unique ways to use cheap ramen noodles in all kinds of recipes that will appeal to all ages. Un! Fun! Fun!
